The national field

Every suburb in Australia, coloured by the question you asked.

All 15,329 boundaries are drawn. The modelled ones carry values; the rest are left unmapped rather than guessed at.

Loading the field…

Loading the measures and their scales.

Eleven questions, one map.

Every measure below is already loaded for the cohort on screen, so choosing one repaints the country rather than fetching it. Each is computed within a matched cohort — a 2-bedroom apartment is never compared against a 4-bedroom house, and no headline number is a blended median that quietly mixes them.

What is real here, and what is not.

Real

The geography. Suburb boundaries are the ABS ASGS Edition 3 set, streets and addresses come from Geoscape G-NAF, and the socio-economic and dwelling-mix inputs are Census and SEIFA. All of it CC BY 4.0, all of it unmodified.

And in Aubin Grove, the homes and their sales: every dwelling and every recorded sale since 2003, licensed for this use. Open a home there.

Modelled

Everywhere else, every price, sale, rent and date. They are generated over the real geography by a seeded model, so the patterns are coherent and reproducible — but those transactions did not happen. Estimates are modelled in every suburb, Aubin Grove included.

Not yet

Most of the country. Every suburb has a boundary and an id; only some have numbers.

DataHome — Australian property, as a field

Boundaries ABS ASGS Edition 3 (2021) and addresses Geoscape G-NAF, both CC BY 4.0. Prices, sales and rents are modelled over that real geography, with one exception: in Aubin Grove the homes and their sales are recorded. Every estimate, everywhere, is DataHome’s own model.
